Colliers International DC Office

Washington DC

Guided by Colliers International’s mission to maximize the potential of people, clients, and real assets, the new Washington, DC office at 1919 Pennsylvania Avenue was designed to foster collaboration, functionality, and workplace performance. The open floor plan uses architectural elements to define zones while maintaining transparency, with diagonal forms inspired by the building’s geometry shaping ceilings, lighting, partitions, and circulation. Abundant natural light, glazed offices, and strong visual connections reinforce an open, connected culture.

The workplace combines a refined, hospitality-inspired aesthetic with everyday functionality through warm materials, integrated acoustics, and sculptural design elements. A custom reception area establishes a strong identity, while collaborative hubs, social spaces, wellness rooms, and meeting areas encourage interaction, movement, and employee well-being.

A cohesive palette of polished concrete, wood slat features, acoustic treatments, and biophilic elements creates a timeless environment that supports comfort and productivity. Technology, lighting, acoustics, and AV systems are seamlessly integrated throughout, enhancing the user experience without compromising design.

The result is a high-performing workplace that strengthens collaboration, supports employee engagement, and reflects Colliers’ continued growth and commitment to exceptional client service.
