Interesting Fact
After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, Wil took a job at Bass Gick and Mickey (BGM). When Michael Gick left BGM in 1988 to start Morgan Gick & Associates (now MGMA); Wil was his first employee. After a brief period away from the firm to get a Masters at Rice University and Internships at Gensler and IM Pei, Wil returned in 1993. Wil had been a partner at MGMA since 1995. He continued to guide the office's strategic planning and strategy and was responsible for overseeing office administration, promotion, and project workflow.
When asked about his early career, he said, "I had four job offers coming out of school." After telling my father about all the relevant pros and cons of each offer his dad immediately responded; "it is obvious, accept that offer from the person you said you really connected with." That was Michael Gick, in 1987. It has been an incredible ride at MGMA ever since.
